Fee Schedule.

At JUSTUS ADR SERVICES, we understand that cost is an important consideration when choosing a dispute resolution provider. We strive to offer competitive and transparent pricing for our mediation, arbitration, and early neutral evaluation services. Our fee structure is designed to provide value to our clients while ensuring the highest quality of service from our experienced neutrals.

Mediation Fees

Mediation Fees.

Mediation is a cost-effective alternative to traditional litigation, allowing parties to resolve their disputes in a shorter time frame and with fewer legal resources. Our mediation fees are based on the complexity of the case, the length of the sessions, and the mediator's expertise.

Half-day mediation session* (up to 4 hours): $1,500 per party
Full-day mediation session (up to 8 hours): $2,250 per party
Each additional hour: $400

*Half-day sessions cannot exceed 3 parties. Employment cases must be booked as a full day session.

Arbitration Fees.

Arbitration provides a binding decision from a neutral third party, often at a lower cost and with faster resolution than court proceedings. Our arbitration fees are determined by the amount of time required for the arbitrator to review the case materials, conduct hearings, and render a decision.

Arbitrator's per diem rate: $6000
❖ Additional hourly rate: $500
Miscellaneous expenses (e.g., travel, lodging): At cost

Early Neutral Evaluation

Early Neutral Evaluation Fees.

Early Neutral Evaluation (ENE) is a non-binding process that helps parties assess the strengths and weaknesses of their case and explore potential settlement options. Our ENE fees are based on the evaluator's time spent reviewing case materials, conducting the ENE session, and preparing a written evaluation.

Half-day mediation session* (up to 4 hours): $1,500 per party
Full-day mediation session (up to 8 hours): $2,250 per party
Each additional hour: $400

*Half-day sessions cannot exceed 3 parties. Employment cases must be booked as a full day session.

Cancellation and Postponement Policy

We require written notice of cancellation or request of postponement or continuance, any of which must be received in our office no later than ten (10) business days before the scheduled date of the mediation. Should any of the parties cancel, postpone, or continue a scheduled session after this time, the requesting party(ies) will be billed a fee equal to one half (½) of the total amount and administrative charges that would have been invoiced on the case had the mediation taken place.

We will make every attempt to re-book the day in question and in the event that we are able to "fill in" that day with another session, the canceling party will be promptly notified and the cancellation fee dropped or adjusted appropriately.

As of May 1, 2024, a cancellation fee of $250 will be charged for any session that is scheduled and subsequently cancelled prior to the (10) business day cancellation fee window.
